TOURNAMENTS REGULATION 2021

In 2021, four tournaments inspired by the official cycling season will be organized on the Teleflammerouge ++ platform .

Participants

Access to the tournaments will be reserved for the top 32 players in the overall ranking (for further details on the ranking , https://teleflammerouge.netsons.org/help-rank/ ) .

The calculation of the best 32 will be made one week before the start of each tournament. In case of refusal by a player who is entitled, will be invited players found in the positions immediately following the thirty-second , giving preference who has performed more games.

Participants will be divided into 4 pots based on their position in the ranking:

  • First pot, from 1st to 8th in order of ranking
  • Second pot, from 9th to 1st 6th in ranking order
  • Third pot, from 1 7th to 24th in order of ranking
  • Fourth pot, from 25th to 32nd in order of ranking

Players will be drawn in 8 groups: the players who is not in the same range can’t meet in the first round.

Rounds

The competition consists of 4 rounds:

  • Round of 16 (32)
  • Quarters
  • Semi – finals
  • Final

The participants of each group face each other in a single race whose ranking will determine the passage of the round for the first two teams classified: for each team the position of the first cyclist at the finish is valid.

The groups of quarters will be composed as follows (taking into account that O , indicates group A of the eighths, while Q indicates group A of the quarters) :

  • : Winner O , Winner O , Second O , Second O D
  • : Winner O , Winner O , Second O , Second O F
  • : Winner O , Winner O , Second O , Second O H
  • : Winner O , Winner O , Second O , Second O B.

The semifinal rounds will be composed as follows :

  • Seeds : Winner Q , Q Winner , According to Q , Q According to D
  • Semi : Winner Q , Q Winner , According to Q , Q Second B

The first two teams placed in each Semifinal will participate in the final race.

In subsequent turns , the number of fatigue accumulated in the previous turn is kept , halved by excess.

Grid

The starting grid of the first round is defined randomly, while that of the subsequent rounds is based on the rank of cyclists to the previous round (the groups will be formed by 2 winners and 2 runners up).
The starting grid from the quarter-finals onwards will be carried out using this method: the best seed (meaning the ranking in the ranking at the time of the registration deadline) between the two winners places one cyclist first, then the other. winner places them both and then again the highest seeded winner places his second.
Then the same thing happens between the two runners-up, always starting from the best seed.

Stages

The stages chosen by the organizers will be announced a few days before the start of the competition and will be based on some particularly representative tracks suitably adapted by the designers to be played on TeleFlammeRouge ++.

At each turn, all groups will face each other on the same stage.

The METEO expansion will also be used for each race.

Dates and times

The competitions will be held on the days set by the organizers . The members of each group will then organize themselves to book a space during the period concerned. We will try to keep a round (eighths, quarters, etc.) within a week.

Disqualification and BOT

If a participant does not show up (without notice) after 10 minutes from the scheduled start of the race, he will be replaced by a Bot Muscle who will place his cyclists in the first two free places of the grid at his turn of choice (first R and then S ).
